Shearston Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Building Repair Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parishes of North Petherton and Thurloxton Temporary Closure of Shearston Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Shearston Lane -from the junction with Howells Lane to the junction with Teckhill Lane. A total distance of 468 metres. This Order will enable The Wessex Conservation Company Ltd to render gable end on Shearston House.
The Order becomes effective on 24th June 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 30th June 2025 and last until 25th July 2025 between the hours of 00:00 -23:59 for a total of 26 days.
