ALPINGTON – U76372 Burgate Lane from its junction with U76373 Reeders Lane for 400m westwards to facilitate new fibre network installation works for BDUK from 23rd June to 4th July 2025 (may continue until 15th August 2025). Alternative route is via: Wheel Road, Church Road, Framingham Earl Road, Yelverton Road, Hall Road, Burgate Lane (Poringland, Framingham Earl, Alpington, Yelverton). The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks Ltd.
CRANWORTH – U35040 Letton Green from its junction with C197 Letton Road for 1604m southwards to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works from 23rd to 27th June 2025 (may continue until 8th August 2025). Alternative route is via: C197 Letton Road, U35041 Blackmoor Row, C160 Mill Road/Woodrising Road and vice versa (Cranworth, Shipdham). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.
DEREHAM – A1075 Yaxham Road from its junction with A1075 Tavern Lane to its junction with B1135 Yaxham Road to facilitate reclaimite surface to carriageway works between 07:00 and 17:00 on 22nd June 2025 (may continue until 3rd August 2025). Alternative route is via: B1135 Yaxham Road/Dereham Road/Norwich Road/Whinburgh Road/The Lings/Low Street/Norwich Road/ Dereham Road, B1108 Station Road/Hingham Road/Norwich Road/Norwich Street/The Fairland/ Church Street/Watton Road/Norwich Road, A1075 Cadman Way/Watton Road/High Street/Church Close/Chapel Street/Market Street/Shipdham Road/Tavern Lane (Kimberley, Shipdham, Garvestone, Whinburgh and Westfield, Yaxham, Dereham, Deopham, Carbrooke, Hingham, Scoulton, Watton, Saham Toney, Ovington, Hardingham). HADDISCOE – U6405 Low Road from its junction with 7P898 Lound Dam for 30m southwards to facilitate new water connection works from 23rd to 25th June 2025 (may continue until 6th August 2025). Alternative route is via: Wiggs Road, The Street. The works promoter is Anglian Water.
HINGHAM – U78154 Hall Moor Road/Cadges Lane from its junction with U78089 Low Road for 1223m southwards to facilitate cabling works for BDUK from 24th June to 7th July 2025 (may continue until 18th August). Alternative route is via: Hall Moor Road, Cadges Lane, Attleborough Road, Church Street, Market Place, Hall Lane. The works promoter is BT.
REDENHALL WITH HARLESTON – 1) A143 Harleston Bypass from its junction with A143 Harleston Bypass roundabout for 175m southwards (including the roundabout) and 2) C571 Redenhall Road from its junction with A143 Harleston Bypass roundabout for 80m westwards to facilitate resurfacing works between 19:00 and 06:00 from 23rd to 28th June 2025 (may continue until 9th August 2025). SAHAM TONEY – U33002 Ovington Road from 45m east of its junction with C121 Cley Lane for 50m eastwards to facilitate stop tap replacement works from 24th to 26th June 2025 (may continue until 7th August 2025). Alternative route is via: U33002 Ovington Road, C121 Saham Road, A1075 Dereham Road/Cadman Way, B1108 High Street, C121 Cley Lane and vice versa. The works promoter is Anglian Water.
SEETHING, LODDON & MUNDHAM – C202 Brooke Road/Loddon Road from its junction with C378 Church Road for 4840m westwards to facilitate lining works between 20:00 and 06:00 from 24th to 26th June 2025 (may continue until 7th August 2025). Alternative route is via: Mundham Road, A146 Loddon Bypass, A146 Norwich Road, A146 Loddon Road, B1332 Bungay Road, B1332 The Street, B1332 Norwich Road, The Street, Hunstead Lane, Brooke Road (Framingham Pigot, Poringland, Kirstead, Framingham Earl, Chedgrave, Kirby Bedon, Brooke, Yelverton, Hellington, Seething, Ashby St. Mary, Loddon, Sisland, Thurton, Caister St. Edmund and Bixley, Holverston). SHIPDHAM – C196 Swan Lane from its junction with A1075 Market Street for 40m northwards to facilitate sluice valve repair works from 25th to 27th June 2025 (may continue until 8th August 2025). Alternative route is via: C196 Swan Lane/Daffy Green, C196A Dereham Road, C116 Bradenham Road, A1075 Watton Road/High Street/Church Close/Chapel Street/Market Street and vice versa (Bradenham, Scarning, Shipdham). The works promoter is Anglian Water.
THURTON & BERGH APTON –
C374 The Street from its junction with A146 Norwich Road to its junction with C374 Cookes Road and
C373 White Heath Road from its junction with C374 Cookes Road for 130m south westwards to facilitate new fibre network installation works for BDUK from 25th June to 8th July 2025 (may continue until 19th August 2025). Alternative route is via:

NB: Please note that Roads 1 and 2 will not be closed at the same time within the anticipated dates period.
WYMONDHAM – C594 Station Road from its junction with U78289 High Banks for 100m southwards to facilitate bridge inspection works between 22:00 on 26th June and 06:00 on 27th June 2025 (may continue until 8th August 2025). Alternative route is via: Station Road, Silfield Road, Wymondham Road, The Street, Norwich Road, Stanfield Road, Browick Road, Ayton Road (Wreningham, Wymondham, Bracon Ash, Ashwellthorpe and Fundenhall, Spooner Row). The works promoter is Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

HARPLEY – Fakenham Road from its junction with Foxhill Road to its junction with Back Street to facilitate surface dressing works between 19:00 and 05:00 from 26th to 28th June 2025 (may continue until 6th August 2025). Alternative route is via: Fakenham Road, Hillington Road, Anmer Road, Lynn Road, Stanhoe Road, Stocks Close, Docking Road, Syderstone Road, The Green, Rudham Road (Hillington, Docking, Syderstone, Barwick, Flitcham with Appleton, Bircham, West Rudham, East Rudham, Tattersett, Anmer, Bagthorpe with Barmer, Harpley). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.
KING’S LYNN – Clenchwarton Bypass A17 from its junction with Pullover Roundabout for 500m westwards to facilitate road marking works from 24th to 27th June 2025 (may continue until 8th August 2025). Alternative route is via: A17 Wisbech Road to Tydd Bank, Sutton Road, A47 (Clenchwarton, Tilney All Saints, Walpole Cross Keys, Terrington St. John, Walsoaken, Leverington, Walpole Highway, Emneth, West Walton, Little Sutton, Newton-in-the-Isle, Tydd St. Mary, Tilney St. Lawrence, Sutton Bridge, Tydd St. Giles, Long Sutton, Wisbech, Terrington St. Clement). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.
NORTHWOLD AND WHITTINGTON – West End from 300m east of its junction with Thetford Road for 30m westwards to facilitate fire hydrant repair works from 24th to 26th June 2025 (may continue until 7th August 2025). Alternative route is via: West End, Methwold Road, Thetford Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.
OUTWELL – Isle Road from 260m south of its junction with Birdbeck Drive for 40m southwards to facilitate new connection works between 20:00 and 06:00 on 23rd June 2025 (may continue until 4th August 2025). Alternative route is via: A1122, B1094, A1101 (Outwell, Upwell, Nordelph). The works promoter is UK Power Distribution Ltd.
WALSOKEN – Burrett Road from its junction with Lynn Road for 50m southwards to facilitate main fitting works from 24th to 26th June 2025 (may continue until 7th August 2025). Alternative route is via: Burrett Road, Black Bear Lane, C311 Old Lynn Road, Lynn Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months or 6 months in respect of footpaths, cycle paths, bridleways, restricted byways, and byways open to all traffic (BOAT).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
