Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

AYLSHAM –

1. Holman Road from its junction with Sandy Lane for 90m eastwards and

2. Sandy Lane from its junction with Holman Road for 50m northwards to facilitate gas main replacement works from 30th June to 11th July 2025 (may continue until 22nd August 2025). Alternative route is via:

GREAT YARMOUTH – Harley Road/Garfield Road Back Lane from its junction with Service Road Rear Of 29 to 36 Salisbury Road for 100m southwards to facilitate sewer repair works from 1st to 4th July 2025 (may continue until 15th August 2025).

Alternative route is via: Service Road Rear Of 29 to 36 Salisbury Road, Harley Road, Service Road Adjacent To 97 Harley Road To Rear Of 8 Beaconsfield Road.

HAPPISBURGH – Grub Street from 420m south of its junction with C643 North Walsham Road for 100m southwards to facilitate pole testing works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 4th July 2025 (may continue until 15th August 2025).

Alternative route is via: Grub Street, North Walsham Road, The Street, Whimpwell Street, Coronation Road, Coronation Close, The Common, Grub Street (East Ruston, Happisburgh).

NEATISHEAD – Irstead Road from its junction with C401 The Street for 46m eastwards to facilitate new duct installation works from 3rd to 18th July 2025 (may continue until 29th August 2025).

Alternative route is via: The Street, School Lane, School Road, King Street, Water Lane, Long Road, Hall Road, Irstead Road (Barton Turf, Neatishead).

NORTH WALSHAM – B1145 North Walsham by-pass from its junction with U14480 Folgate Road to its junction with U19662 Little London Road to facilitate main dressing, lining and stud replacement works between 19:00 on 29th June and 05:00 on 17th July 2025 (may continue until 28th August 2025).

CAISTOR ST EDMUND AND BIXLEY – C190 White Horse Lane from 363m north-east of its junction with C201 Stoke Road for 170m north-eastwards to facilitate unloading of temporary road/track way matting units between 09:30 and 15:30 from 3rd to 16th July 2025 (may continue until 27th August 2025).

Alternative route is via: White Horse Lane, Stoke Road, Mansfield Lane, A146 Barrett Road, A146 Martineau Lane, Bracondale, The Street, White Horse Lane (Trowse with Newton, Caistor St. Edmund and Bixley).

CRANWORTH – U35179 River Lane from 375m south of its junction with C161 Church Lane for 25m southwards to facilitate brickwork repairs and fencing replacement works from 30th June to 1st July 2025 (may continue until the 12th August 2025).

KESWICK AND INTWOOD – C184 Low Road from its junction with the level crossing for 10m northwards and 10m southwards to facilitate track maintenance works between 23:00 and 06:00 from 4th to 7th July 2025 (may continue until 18th August 2025).

KESWICK AND INTWOOD – C184 Low Road at its intersection with the railway crossing for 10m northwards and 10m southwards to facilitate track maintenance works between 23:30 and 09:30 from 28th to 29th June 2025 (may continue until 10th August 2025).

RAVENINGHAM – B1136 Yarmouth Road from its junction with U76307 The Craft to its junction with U76359 Mill Road to facilitate surface dressing works from 3rd to 25th July 2025 (may continue until 25th January 2026).

TIVETSHALL ST MARGARET & TIVETSHALL ST MARY – B1134 Long Row from its junction with C343 Plantation Road for 6600m eastwards to facilitate surface dressing and preparation work from 1st to 28th July 2025 (may continue until 28th January 2026).

   KING’S LYNN – Chapel Street from its junction with Austin Street to its junction with St Nicholas Street to facilitate remedial works on 2nd July 2025 (may continue until 13th August 2025).

   Alternative route is via: Austin Street, John Kennedy Road, North Street, St Anns Street.

   The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

   KING’S LYNN – U20723 Ffolkes Drive from 100m southwest of its junction with U20724 South Wootton Lane for 20m south westwards to facilitate new gas connection works from 30th June to 4th July 2025 (may continue until 15th August 2025).

   Alternative route is via: Ffolkes Drive, Dawnay Avenue.

   The works promoter is Cadent.

   KING’S LYNN –

   1. U20415/20 Norfolk Street from its junction with Blackfriars Road for 30m westwards and;

   2. Norfolk Street Footway from its junction with U20415/20 Norfolk Street for 20m southwards and;

   3. U20415/20 Norfolk Street from its junction with A148 Railway Road to its junction with Blackfriars Road to facilitate 2-way link box replacement works.

      The road 1) and footway 2) will be temporarily closed. The road 3) shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (eastbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both an easterly and westerly direction and traffic shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload between 08:00 and 17:00 from 30th June to 4th July 2025 (may continue until 8th August 2025).

      Alternative route is via: Norfolk Street, Blackfriars Road, Wellesley Street, Railway Road, John Kennedy Road, Austin Street.

      The works promoter is UK Power Network.

   SHOULDHAM – Lynn Road from 90m south of its junction with Mill Road for 1373m southwards to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works from 30th June to 10th July 2025 only whilst signs indicating closures are in place (may continue until 21st August 2025).

   The road will be temporarily closed and temporarily subject to a 30mph speed restriction.

   Alternative route is via: Lynn Road, Downham – Wimbotsham Bypass A10 (Watlington, Stow Bardolph, Stradsett, Wimbotsham, Ryston, Crimplesham, Wormegay, Tottenhill, Shouldham Thorpe, Runcton Holme).

   The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

   NB: Please note that the road closure is between 07:00 and 19:00 and the 30mph speed restriction is between 19:00 and 07:00.

   WALSOKEN – Wheatley Bank from 270m south of its junction with Lynn Road for 30m southwards to facilitate new connection works from 30th June to 2nd July 2025 (may continue until 13th August 2025).

   Alternative route is via: Wheatley Bank, Black Bear Lane, Burrett Road, Lynn Road.

   The works promoter is Anglian Water.

   WALSOKEN –

   1. B198 Lynn Road from 415m south of its junction with U21104 Grassgate Lane to its junction with C570 Lynn Road,

   2. C570 Lynn Road from its junction with B198 Lynn Road to its junction with C2 School Road,

   3. C2 School Road from its junction with C570 Lynn Road to its junction with C1 Mill Road,

   4. C1 Mill Road from its junction with C2 School Road to its junction with U21079 Frenchs Road

      to facilitate transportation of transformers and generators via specialist trailers traffic over the road and shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload from 29th June to 13th July 2025 (may continue until 24th August 2025).

      Alternative route is via: N/A.

   ii) THEY HAVE MADE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

   AYLSHAM – 5F172 Neale Close To Holman Road to facilitate gas main replacement works from 23rd June to 11th July 2025 (may continue until 22nd August 2025).

   Alternative route is via: Holman Road, Partridge Road, Partridge Road To Neale Close, Neale Close.

   AYLSHAM – C593 Blicking Road from its junction with Heydon Road to its junction with Petersons Lane to facilitate pole testing works between 09:30 and 15:00 on 26th June 2025 (may continue until 11th August 2025).
