Sandwell, Castle Street, Tipton - Temporary Road Closure, to allow for new connection works.
What is happening?
SANDWELL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
The Borough Council of Sandwell (Castle Street, Tipton) (Temporary Road Closure & Footway Clousure) Order 2025 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Castle Street, Tipton which will be closed from its junction with Park Lane West to the east of the junction of Rounds Wharf (access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits). A traffic diversion route will be signed for the Castle Street, Tipton closure via Park Lane West, High Street and vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 11/07/2025 effective from 30/06/2025 (24hrs).
