Cedar Road and Wollescote Road - Temporary Road Closures

What is happening?

DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to
make the following Order, Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Cedar Road and Bluebell Road, Dudley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Cedar Road and Bluebell Road, Dudley, for the purpose of gas mains replacement being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 7/7/25 and will remain in force until 4/8/25 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Cedar Road, Maple Road, Lavender Road, Bluebell Road, and vice versa.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Wollescote Road,
Wollescote) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle
proceeding on Wollescote Road, Wollescote, for the purpose of gas mains
replacement being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 10.07.2025 and will remain in force until 30.07.2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Wollescote Road Service Road, Wollescote Road, and vice versa.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
