Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA
B2162 Lamberhurst Road, Horsmonden, TN12 8DR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow for reinstatement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2162 Lamberhurst Road, Horsmonden, on or after 6th July 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Sandhole Cottage, works to begin at 08:00 on Sunday and will be removed by 05:00 Monday. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2162 Lamberhurst Road, The Heath, Brenchley Road, Horsmonden Road, High Street, Brenchley Road, B2160 Maidstone Road, A21 Kippings Cross Roundabout, A21 Hastings Road, A21 Blue Boys Roundabout, A21 Hastings Road, A21 Lamberhurst Quarter, A21 Lamberhurst By-pass, A21 Forstal Farm Roundabout, A262 Horsmonden Road, B2162 Horsmonden Road, B2162 Lamberhurst Road and vice versa.
Amhurst Bank Road, Capel (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow a new drainage connection to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Amhurst Bank Road, Capel, on or after 1st July 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Amhurst Granary, between the hours of 08:00 to 17:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Amhurst Bank Road, Half Moon Lane, Alders Road, A228 Colts Hill, A228 Maidstone Road, Redwings Lane and vice versa.
Castle Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN4 8DG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Castle Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 14th July 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the rear of Mount Edgcumbe Hotel. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic Southbound is via A264 Church Road, A26 London Road, A26 Eridge Road, Castle Road.
The alternative route for any through traffic Northbound is via Mount Edgecombe Road, A26 London Road, A264 Church Road.
Farnham Lane, Langton Green, TN3 0JT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow gully replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Farnham Lane, Langton Green, on or after 30th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from approximately 100 metres west of Hole Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Farnham Lane, Dornden Drive, Longmeads, Nellington Road and vice versa.
Folly Hill, Cranbrook (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow for water asset works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Folly Hill, Cranbrook, on or after 30th June 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Redwater Farm Barn. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Folly Hill, Colliers Green Road, Marden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, A229 Wilsley Pound, A229 The Common, A229 Camden Hill, A229 Rocks Hill, A229 Knoxbridge, A229 Cranbrook Road, Pinnock Lane, Goudhurst Road and vice versa.
Hawkenbury Road, Hawkenbury (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hawkenbury Road, Hawkenbury, on or after 15th July 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Reynards Brook Farm, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hawkenbury Road, Benhall Mill Road, Forest Road, Boundary Road, Hawkenbury Road and vice versa.
Holden Road, Southborough, TN4 0GD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Holden Road, Southborough, on or after 16th July 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the junction with Tanyard Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Holden Road, A26 London Road, Victoria Road, Constitutional Hill Road and vice versa.
Lidwells Lane, Goudhurst, TN17 1JG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new service connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lidwells Lane, Goudhurst, on or after 14th July 2025 for up to 31 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside Lidwells Cottage to outside Lodge Nursery, between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays and 09:00 and 16:00 on Sundays. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lidwells Lane, B2079 North Road, Blind Lane and vice versa.
Lucks Lane, Paddock Wood, TN12 6PD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow level crossing maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lucks Lane, Paddock Wood, on or after 20th July 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Swatlands Level Crossing, between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lucks Lane, Queen Street, Mile Oak Road, Mascalls Court Road, B2160 Maidstone Road, and vice versa.
Marden Road, Cranbrook (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Marden Road, Cranbrook, on or after 14th July 2025 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Barnoast. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Marden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, Colliers Green Road and vice versa.
Queen Street, Paddock Wood, TN12 6NT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow bridge inspection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Queen Street, Paddock Wood, on or after 20th July 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the railway bridge, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Queen Street, Willow Lane, Pearsons Green Road, Mile Oak Road, Queen Street and vice versa.
Salomons Road, Rusthall, TN4 8RF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow for new a electricity connection to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Salomons Road, Rusthall, on or after 30th June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 12. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Stepneyford Lane, Benenden (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stepneyford Lane, Cranbrook, on or after 14th July 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed approximately 280 metres south of Greenlane Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stepneyford Lane, Green Lane, Goddards Green Road, New Pond Road, B2086 The Street, B2086 Rolvenden Road, Stepneyford Lane and vice versa.
Water Lane, Hawkhurst, TN18 5DE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow overhead wire transfer works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Water Lane, Cranbrook, on or after 16th July 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Keepers Cottage between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Water Lane, A229 Hawkhurst Road, A229 Gills Green, A229 Cranbrook Road, A268 Rye Road and vice versa.
