Tonbridge and Malling, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices
What is happening?
HIGHWAYS
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE AND MALLING AREA
B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Wrotham, TN15 7RU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow remedial works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Wrotham, on or after 4th July 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of A20 London Road and Teston Road, during the hours of 21:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2016 Seven Mile Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A228 Malling Road, A228 Ashton Way, A20 Ashton Way, A20 London Road and vice versa.
Blackmans Lane, Hadlow, TN11 0AT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Blackmans Lane, Tonbridge, on or after 14th July 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named The Poplars, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A26 Tonbridge Road, A26 Hadlow Road East, Three Elm Lane, Blackmans Lane and vice versa.
Coldharbour Lane, Hildenborough (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow for a new gas connection to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coldharbour Lane, Hildenborough, on or after 30th June 2025 for up to 10 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Trench Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Hartlake Road, Golden Green, TN11 0AZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hartlake Road, Golden Green, on or after 30th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed 50m south of junction with Three Elm Lane, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Three Elm Lane, A26 Hadlow Road East, A26 Cornwallis Avenue, A26 Hadlow Road, A26 Cannon Lane, A26 Vale Road, A26 Vale Rise, A26 Woodgate Way, B2017 Tudeley Road, Hartlake Road and vice versa.
Kemsing Road, Wrotham, TN15 7BB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow for water repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Kemsing Road, Wrotham, on or after 2nd July 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside High Trees. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Borough Green Road, A227 Borough Green Road, A227 Wrotham Road, A227 Western Road, A25 Sevenoaks Road, A25 Borough Green Road, A227 Borough Green Road, Fen Pond Road, Kemsing Road and vice versa.

To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Plaxdale Green Road, Stansted, on or after 14th July 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of The Old Farmhouse. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Plaxdale Green Road, Malthouse Road, Stansted Hill, Vigo Road, A227 Gravesend Road, A20 London Road, Labour In Vain Road, Plaxdale Green Road and vice versa.
