What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(BUCKWOOD LANE, STUDHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from

the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the full length of Buckwood Lane, Studham.

This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway repair works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 14 to 16 July 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Clayhall Road, B4540 and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 14 July 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(LONG LANE, TODDINGTON AND LONG LANE, TINGRITH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Long Lane, Toddington and Long Lane, Tingrith between Cherry Trees and High Street.

This temporary closure is required to enable cabling and slicing works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 14 to 16 July 2025 between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Tingrith Road, Eversholt Road, Old Water End, New Water End, Tyrells End, Church End, ZUC97, South End, Park Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 14 July 2025 for a period of three months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(OLD ROAD, BARTON LE CLAY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Old Road, Barton Le Clay near the stables.

This temporary closure is required to enable ditch clearance and extension to culvert works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 14 to 18 July 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm.

The road will be closed at all times during this period.

There is no alternative route for this closure.

The Order will come into operation on 14 July 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(HIGH STREET NORTH AND HIGH STREET SOUTH, DUNSTABLE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of High Street North from Queens Way to West Street and High Street South from Britain Street to West Street.

This temporary closure is required to enable drainage investigation works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 30 June to 25 July 2025 between the hours of 8pm and 5am. The road will be closed at all times during this period. The alternative routes for these closures are:

High Street North via A505, A5, A5505, A505

High Street South via West Street, B4541, B4540, A5183

The Order will come into operation on 30 June 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(LYNCH HILL, KENSWORTH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Lynch Hill, Kensworth between the rear of The Packhouse pub to the four-way junction at Spratts Lane and Clay Hall Road.

This temporary closure is required to enable sewer cleaning work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 10pm on the 2 July to 5:30am on 3 July 2025 between the hours of 8am and 4pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via B4540, B4541, B489, A5183 and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 2 July 2025 for a period of three months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
