Weston Corbett Road, Weston Corbett, Basingstoke & Deane - Temporary Road Closure due to utility works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Weston Corbett Road between its junction with Weston Road and continuing to a point 400 metres West on Weston Corbett Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Weston Road, Church Street, Basingstoke Road, Weston Corbett Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 7th June 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Friday 11th July 2025 and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day). The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Connect It Utilities to do carriageway works safely.
