What is happening?
THE WEST LOTHIAN COUNCIL CLOSURE OF ROADS & WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING RESTRICTIONS IN WHITBURN - TTO/25/211
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council have made an Order in terms of Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to the effect that in connection with Whitburn Gala Day Main Parade on 28 June 2025 between the hours of 0900 & 1330 the roads as noted in the Schedule below will be closed to vehicular traffic.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic are also noted therein and Parking Restrictions will apply.

Road Closures & Waiting, Loading & Unloading Restrictions (From 0900 hours) - Entirety of Ellen Street and Shanks Road Road Closures & Waiting, Loading & Unloading Restrictions (From 0945 hours) - Manse Road (A706), Union Road, Manse Avenue, Glebe Road, Murraysgate Crescent, Armadale Road (A706), Empire Street, Park View, Baillie Street & Bog Road; East Main Street (A705) from junction with Blaeberryhill Road to Whitburn Cross; West Main Street (B7069) from junction with west leg of Murraysgate Crescent to Whitburn Cross Diversion Routes (Unsigned) - North/South via Mile straight (A706), A801, Main Street (A705), Blaeberryhill Road, Longridge Road (A706) & Vice versa; East/West via Main Street (A705), A801, Mile Straight (A706), Whitdale Roundabout, B7066, Polkemmet Road (B7069) & Vice versa
