GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF VARIOUS ROADS

(COTSWOLD DISTRICT – PARISHES OF FAIRFORD, KEMPSFORD AND MEYSEY HAMPTON; WILTSHIRE COUNTY – PARISH OF MARSTON MEYSEY; SWINDON BOROUGH – PARISH OF HANNINGTON): 2025

Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily restrict the lengths of roads described in Schedule 1. The Order will also temporarily restrict the lengths of roads in Schedule 2.

These roads fall within the Parishes of Fairford, Kempsford and Meysey Hampton in the Cotswold District of the County of Gloucestershire, with roads within the County of Wiltshire and the Parish of Hannington in the Borough of Swindon.

The closures and restrictions are necessary because of the danger to the public using the roads during The Royal International Air Tattoo 2025, to provide a safe route for emergency vehicles and to provide effective traffic management.

The Order shall come into operation on the 16th July 2025 and it is anticipated that it shall continue in force until 21st July 2025 or for a period not exceeding eighteen months.

For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
