Proposed Order: To close that part of U5317 New St from its junction with U5318 Charles St to its junction with U5316 Corn Market and to temporarily suspend the County of Hereford and Worcester (New Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1990 to allow two-way traffic flow.

Reason: Severn Trent Water pipe connection works

Site operative: Laying the site lighting by Prysmian Cables and Systems (Street Lighting).

No access for emergency services. Diversion route must be signed.

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4638 Newtown Rd from its junction with U51330 Sheriff’s St to its junction with B4205 London Rd.

Reason: Pedestrian guardrail renewal by WCC.

Order made: To close that part of A38 Sansome Walk from its junction with U51302 Pierpoint St to its junction with U51001 Sansome St and to temporarily put suspend the County of Hereford and Worcester (Various Roads, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) (Amendment) Order 1980 on that part of A38 Sansome Walk to allow two-way traffic flow along the diversion route from Pierpoint Street.

Reason: Removal of scaffolding on land at the back of Foregate Street Railway Station by Amco Giffen.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Footpaths St-502, 504, 505, 506 & 507, Salwarpe) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close Footpaths St-502, 504, 505, 506 & 507 (Salwarpe).

Reason: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the footpath affected, or whose only access is from the footpath; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

There is no alternative route.

Exemptions: to permit access to which is part of a bridleway.

Anticipated duration: the Order will remain in force for a maximum of 6 months; however, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for the duration of the works which is 2 weeks.
