What is happening?

MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL
 TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC000143774120: The City of Manchester (Kincardine Road, Ardwick Ward)(Temporary Closure of Cycle Lane) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit any pedal cycle (and any pedestrian) from proceeding at any time in the following length of cycle lane: Kincardine Road, From Arkley Street to Balsam Close. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate the Installation of a New HV electricity Cable. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 24th June 2025 to 11th July 2025. The order shall come into operation on 24th June 2025and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. 

ORDER NO. MCC000143775318: The City of Manchester (Wilmslow Road, Rusholme Ward)(Temporary Closure of Cycle Lane) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit any pedal cycle (and any pedestrian) from proceeding at any time in the following length of cycle lane: Wilmslow Road, From Dagenham Road to Denison Street. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate a Service Disconnection. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 24th June 2025 to 27th June 2025. The order shall come into operation on 24th June 2025and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
