Belgrave Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic For A Sewer Connection

What is happening?

MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL
 TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC143658272: The City of Manchester (Belgrave Road, Moston Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Belgrave Road From Northfield Road to 133 Belgrave Road. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Parkfield Road North, Hawthorn Road, Northfield Road and Vice Versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate a sewer connection. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 23rd June 2025 to 7th July 2025. The order shall come into operation on 23rd June 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.

ORDER NO. MCC000143740471: The City of Manchester (Wilbraham Road, Chorlton Park Ward)(Temporary Closure of Cycle Lane) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit any pedal cycle (and any pedestrian) from proceeding at any time in the following length of cycle lane: Wilbraham Road, at it’s junction with Barlow Moor Road. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate utility works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 25th June 2025 to 27th June 2025. The order shall come into operation on 25th June 2025and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
