NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

Twenty Pence Road, Wilburton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-987

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Twenty Pence Road, Wilburton as lies between the Old Twentypence Inn & Sharps Farm. No alternative route is available. Access will be maintained to properties. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water main laying & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 7/7/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 6/1/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 7/7 & 28/9/25.

Ely Road, Little Downham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1013

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Ely Road, Little Downham as lies between No.144 & Old Fit Close. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1411; A10; A1101; B1411 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water main laying & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 28/7/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/1/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 28/7 & 1/8/25.

Newmarket Road, Stretham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1023

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Newmarket Road, Stretham as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1123; A142; A10; A1123 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 9/7/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 8/1/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 00:01hrs & 04:30hrs on 9/7/25.

Lynn Road A10, Littleport Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1024

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Lynn Road A10, Littleport as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The alternative route for vehicles is via A10; A1123; A10; A47; A141; A142; A10 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 13/7/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 12/1/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 00:01hrs & 08:45hrs on 13/7/25.

High Street, Sutton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1028

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Sutton as lies between No.18 & Church Lane. The alternative route for vehicles is via Church Ln; B1381; Hale Rd; High St; Brook Dam Ln & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway surfacing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 8/7/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 6/1/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs & 18:00hrs on 7/7/25.

Paddock Street C142, Soham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1012

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Paddock Street C142, Soham as lies between Nos. 9 & 92A. The alternative route for vehicles is via Paddock St; Churchgate St; High St; Brook Dam Ln & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new sewerage & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 8/7/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 7/1/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs & 18:00hrs on 7/7/25.

Mepal Road, Sutton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1053

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Mepal Road, Sutton as lies between Stimpson Street & Public Right of Way. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing for development & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 21/7/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 20/1/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 21/7 & 8/8/25.

Holt Fen, Little Thetford Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1054

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Holt Fen, Little Thetford as lies between Main Street & Chapel Hill. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate footway slurry sealing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 21/7/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 21/1/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 22/7/25 & 4/4/26.

Broad Piece, Soham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1059

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Broad Piece, Soham as lies between Nos.23 & 72A. The alternative route for vehicles is via The Cotes; Blockmoor Rd; Barway Rd; A142; The Shade; & Townsend; Julius Martin Ln; Mereside; Broad Piece & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas main disconnection, reconnection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 22/7/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 20/1/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 21/7 & 25/7/25.

Second Drove, Little Downham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1066

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Second Drove, Little Downham as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 19/7/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 18/1/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 22:55hrs on 19/7 & 20/7/25.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along The Gallery, Ely as lies between Silver Street & Cathedral. The alternative route for vehicles is via High St; Forehill C140; Broad St; Back Hill C317; Back St & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/7/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/12/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/7 & 31/7/25.

Broad Street, Ely Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1108

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Broad Street, Ely as lies between Cardinals Way & Back Hill C317. The alternative route for vehicles is via Back Hill C317; Back Hill; Silver St; St Mary’s St; Broad St; Lisle Ln; Forehill C140 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/7/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/12/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/7 & 31/7/25.

Station Road, Sutton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1188

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road, Sutton as lies between No.20 & Bow Cottages. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate footway resurfacing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/7/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/12/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/7 & 30/7/25.

Woodfen Road, Littleport Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-917

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Woodfen Road, Littleport as lies between Parson’s Lane & Wisbech Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via Wisbech Rd C319; Friars Wy; Parsons Ln & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate footway resurfacing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/7/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/12/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/7 & 31/7/25.

Various Public Rights Of Way, East Division Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2025-1048

Is to stop any person, cyclist, equestrian, dog walker from proceeding along various rights of way, as set out in Schedule 1 below. The Order is necessary for safety reasons to facilitate bridleway & byway improvement & associated works. These works will come into operation on the 1/7/25 & will continue until these works have finished or on the 31/12/25 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that this order will only apply to the rights of way during the dates & times specified in the Schedule.

Schedule 1 – Public Right of Way Closures

Various Roads, East Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-913

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along various roads, as set out in Schedule 1 below. Nothing in this Order shall prevent access & egress from premises or land adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedule 1. The Order is necessary for safety reasons to facilitate carriageway reconstruction, resurfacing & associated works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1/7/25 & will continue until these works have finished or on the 31/12/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the various locations at various times during the dates stated in the Schedule.

Schedule 1 – Road Closures
