Temporary Closure of Ford Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Ford Road - from the junction with Taunton Road, northwards for a total distance of 99 metres. This Order will enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas mains replacement works.

The Order becomes effective on 3rd July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 7th July 2025 and last until 21st July 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 15 days.
