2. The general effect of the Orders, in connection with a joint proposal with the London Borough of Camden to introduce a segregated contrafow cycle track on the Camden (north-east) side of Cleveland Street, between Maple Street and Mortimer Street, would be to:

(a)realign the zig-zag markings at the eastern exit of the “zebra” pedestrian crossing in Clipstone Street, at its junction with Cleveland Street, to follow the revised kerb-line on the north side of the road, and move the southernmost zigzag marking on the western approach to that crossing towards the southern kerb-line (as a consequence of the proposed removal of the contrafow cycle lane referenced in paragraph 2(b) above);

 (b) introduce a “zebra” pedestrian crossing and associated zig-zag markings on Cleveland Street, adjacent to the King and Queen Public House, No. 1 Foley Street - the crossing and associated zig-zag markings would extend from 1.1 metres north-west of the party wall of No. 45 Cleveland Street and the King and Queen Public House, No. 1 Foley Street to a point 6.5 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Foley Street;

(c)shorten the zig-zag markings on the south-eastern approach to the “zebra” pedestrian crossing in Cleveland Street, at its junction with Riding House Street, by 8.2 metres and realign all zig-zag markings on the north-east side of the road to form a continuous route with the proposed segregated contrafow cycle track; and
