Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025

Northdown Road, Welling - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable Morrison Water Services to install a new pressure reducing valve in the carriageway and footway on Northdown Road at the side of 1-10 Upper Wickham Lane, Welling, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic on Northdown Road from the junction with Upper Wickham Lane to the side of 1-10 Upper Wickham Lane, Welling

    • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition outside Surgery and at the side of 73 Upper Wickham Lane, Welling

  2. The Order will come into effect on 30 June 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 12 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:

    Northdown Road, Kenmere Road, Lynmere Road, Upper Wickham Lane, and vice versa.

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025

Colyers Lane, Erith - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable a water mains replacement by Galliford Try on behalf of Thames Water the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Colyers Lane from outside 72/74 to the junction with Elmstead Road, Erith

  2. The Order will come into effect on 23 June 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 128 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via,

    • Bexleyheath, Crayford Bound traffic

      Colyers Lane, Erith Road, Barnehurst Road, Mayplace Road East, Perry Street, Northend Road

    • Erith bound traffic

      Colyers Lane, Bexley Road, Queens Road, South Road, Northend Road, 5th exit on roundabout, Northend Road

    • Northumberland Heath bound traffic

      Colyers Lane, Northend Road, South Road, Queens Road, Bexley Road

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025

Halfway Street and Ellison Road, Sidcup - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable Marjen Ltd on behalf of Waldon Telecom to undertake Asset Utility Work, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic on Halfway Street and Ellison Road, Sidcup

      Restriction to be removed when not required.

  2. The Order will come into effect on 23 June 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 12 days (Closure is for one night only from 2100 to 0500).

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

    Halfway Street, Willersley Avenue, Blackfen Road, Days Lane.

    Ellison Road, Valliers Wood Road, Halfway Street.

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Edwards Road, Belvedere - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable Morrison Water Services on behalf of Thames Water to undertake their Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic in Edwards Road – entire length

    • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition entire length of the road both sides of the carriageway

  2. The Order will come into effect on 24 June 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 61 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

    Paroma Road, Coleman Road, Upper Sheridan Road, and vice versa

    Paroma Road, Sheridan Road, Upper Sheridan Road, and vice versa

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Broadway, Bexleyheath - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable special event (Civic Parade) to take place by London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic 9:45 am and 1pm by the Metropolitan Police Service of the following

      Watling Street junction with Gravel Hill/Erith Road/Broadway, Bexleyheath

      Broadway junction with Highland Road, Bexleyheath

      Arnsberg Way junction with Mayplace Road West, Bexleyheath

      Broadway junction with Arnsberg Way, Bexleyheath

      Broadway at the entrance/exit to Christ Church, Bexleyheath

      Erith Road, Bexleyheath

    • No waiting no loading (parking restrictions) between 8am and 3pm as detailed in schedule one of this order.

  2. The Order will come into effect on 29 June 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 1 Day.

  3. Whilst the event in Broadway Bexleyheath is in progress no alternative route will be available.

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

  2. The Order will come into effect on 23 June 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 10 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via,
