ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(SKIPTON ROAD, BARNOLDSWICK, PENDLE BOROUGH) (REVOCATION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 10 June 2025 Lancashire County Council made the above Speed Limit Order under Sections 82(2) and 83(2) of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to revoke the "Lancashire County Council (Various Locations, Burnley, Chorley, Fylde, Hyndburn, Lancaster, Pendle, South Ribble and West Lancashire) (Revocation, 30mph, 40mph, 50mph, 60mph and Derestricted Speed Limits (21/22 No1)) Order 2023" insofar as it relates to Item b) of Schedule 2.
Where no further speed limit is re-introduced, the speed limit will revert to restricted road status by virtue of street lighting, where a 30mph speed limit will apply.
This Order will come into force on the 23 June 2025. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Pendle Borough Council, No1 Market Street, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 9LU, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
