What is happening?

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(SPRINGHILL LANE/PENN ROAD SERVICE

ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Springhill Lane from the junction of
Penn Road Service Road to Penn Road.

The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 23 June 2025 until 27 June 2025, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00.

The diversion route is: Springhill Lane (westerly direction), Warstones Road, Stourbridge Road.
The Order is required to facilitate installation of surface water sewer connection under a Section 50 Licence by Erris Builders Limited.
