What is happening?

U32M – TEMPORARY CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (U32M Dess, Aboyne – 23.06.25) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular traffic) Order, 2025” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 23.06.25 for a period of 12 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the U32m, Dess, Aboyne from the junction with the A93 to Auchenhove.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety to allow for fibre infrastructure installation works to be carried out. An alternative route is available via the A93 (Aboyne), C30m (Aboyne), C30m (Lumphanan), U32m (Lumphanan) and vice versa.
