2025 – Guiseley & Rawdon Ward

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, proposes to make the above Order, the effect of which will be within the Guiseley & Rawdon Ward to introduce: 1. No waiting at any Time restrictions along sections of Apperley La; Back La; Batter La; Bradford Rd; Carlton Mews; Focus Way; Gill La Invertrees Ave; Kirk La; Main St; Milners Rd; Moor La; Mount Pleasant; Netherfield Rd; New Road Side; Otley Rd; Oxford Ave; Park Rd; Parkinson Way; Ruskin Cres; Shakespeare Ro; South View; The Green; Town St; Tranfield Ave; Weavers Fold; West End Terr and West Villa Rd; Guiseley. 2. Time Limited Waiting Restrictions (8.00am to 6:00pm all days) on a section of Back Lane, Guiseley. 3. A Disabled Parking Places and on Victoria Road, Guiseley. Details of the proposals including plans showing the affected lengths of highway and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for the Order are available on request by e-mailing the address below.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, proposes to make the above Order, the effect of which will be within the Rothwell Ward to introduce: 1. No waiting at any Time restrictions along sections of Aberford Rd, Bentley Crt, Carlton La, Chapel St, Church St, Holmsley La, Kielder Way, Lay Garth Grds, Main St, Carlton La, Needless Inn La, Ogilby Mews, Oulton Dr, Pottery La, Pymont Dr, Pymont Grve, Sherwood Way, Springfield St, Station La, Stone Brig La, The Grange, Victoria Ave and Wakefield Rd. 2. Time Limited Waiting on a section of Aberford Rd; operating Monday to Saturday, 8.00am - 6.00pm (maximum stay 2 hours – no return within 1 hour). 3. No waiting at any time by Goods Vehicles weighing in excess of 5 Tonnes, together with Bus Stop Clearways, on sections of Leeds Rd. (City Wide) Order 2025 – Amendment Orders No.1 2025

Leeds City Council made the above Orders on Thursday 19 June 2025 under its powers contained in Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, proposes to make the above Orders. The effect of the Orders which come into effect on 30 June 2025 is to introduce. 1. Introduce No Waiting at any Time on Town Gate, Calverley and Cemetery Road, Pudsey. 2. Amend and revoke existing Waiting Restrictions on Wellington Street and Quebec Street within the City Centre Pedestrianized area. 3. Introduce a Loading Bay to operate between 10.00am to 4.00pm and 7.00pm to 7.00am only (40 mins – no return within 1 hour) on the west side of Vicar Lane, near its junction with The Headrow. 4. Introduce No Waiting between 7.00pm and 7.00am (except for Hackney Carriages) on east side of Vicar Lane, near its junction with Ludgate Hill. 5. Introduce No Waiting at any Time Except for Hackney Carriages on north side of Boar Lane and south side of Portland Street, City Centre. 6. Introduce Disabled Persons Parking only on the northeast side of Kirkgate, near its junction with Harper Street. 7. Extend the operating hours of the existing Bus, Taxi & Pedal Cycle only restrictions on The Headrow, from its junction with Oxford Place to its junction with Calverley Street, to operate 24 hours per day 8. Introduce a no U-Turn restriction on Kirkgate, from its junction with Kirkgate onto New York Street. 9. Introduce a one-way restriction on Park Street, Oxford Place, Park Square North, Park Square East, Park Square West, Park Square South, St Pauls Place, Mill Hill and part of Wellington Street. 10. Revoke the existing one-way restrictions on Aire Street. A copy of the Orders, together with related documentation may be obtained by e-mailing troteam@leeds.gov.uk. If you wish to object to question the validity of an Order or any provision contained within it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not be complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks from the date upon which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
