Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, DISTRICT OF SEVENOAKS) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2024
(AMENDMENT No.10) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council hereby proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 49, 51, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004, and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
The effect of the named Order will be to remove some Double Yellow Lines waiting restrictions (in this part of the notice DYL means double yellow lines) – and replace with a zebra crossing on the following length of roads in Sevenoaks:-
DARTFORD ROAD – To place a Zerba crossing point and remove the DYLs on both sides of the road from between the southern boundary of 37 Dartford Road to a point 16.5 meters south and 24.5 meters north.

NOTICE is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL, in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), to formalise a new crossing point as described in column 1 of Schedule 1 hereto, at the location as described in column 2 of the said Schedule.
A plan showing the proposed zebra crossing may be inspected during normal office hours at Kent Highways & Transportation, Kroner House, Eurogate Business Park, Ashford, Kent TN24 8XU by appointment booked through ActiveTravel@kent.gov.uk from the 27 June 2025 or viewed online at www.kent.gov.uk/highwaysconsultations until 12 noon on Monday 21 July 2025. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council hereby proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004, and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
The effect of the Order is to introduce (DYLs) double yellow lines on the following length of roads in Tunbridge Wells:-
CHURCH ROAD – DYL – On the south side from its junction with Mount Pleasant Road adjust the DYLs and loading restrictions for the new entrance. MOUNT PLEASANT ROAD – DYL – On the west side from a point 54 metres south of its junction with Church Road reduce the first existing Limited Waiting Bay by 14 metres and replace with a Loading Only Bay Mon-Sat 8am to 6pm.
