The East Sussex (U7572 Argos Hill Lane, Mayfield)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 No.2
To allow BT Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Argos Hill Lane – from the junction with A267 Argos Hill to the junction with U7573 Argos Hill Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U7572 Argos Hill Road – B2101 Bicycle Arms Road – A267 Argos Hill and vice versa.
The Order commences 25 June 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. The East Sussex (U7663 Common Lane, Laughton)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Common Lane – from the junction with C326 Shortgate Lane to the junction with B2124 Laughton Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C326 Shortgate Lane – B2124 Laughton Road and vice versa. The Order commences 25 June 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 25 and 30 June 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (B2100 Crowborough Hill, Crowborough)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Crowborough Hill – from the junction with U7479 North Beeches Road to the junction with U7807 Watson Way.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via B2157 Green Lane, Eridge Road – A26 Eridge Road – B2100 High Street, The Broadway and vice versa.
The Order commenced 11 March 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 25 and 26 June 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (B2193 Lansdown Place & Friars Walk, Lewes)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Lansdown Place & Friars Walk – from the junction with B2193 Station Road to the junction with U5145 Court Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via A277 High Street, Western Road – C7 Winterbourne Hollow, Bell Lane – B2193 Southover High Street, Priory Street, Station Road. The Order commences 24 June 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs between 24 and 26 June 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Bradfords Lane – from the junction with A22 Uckfield bypass to the junction with U7518 Bradfords Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U7518 Bradfords Lane – A26 Lewes Road – A22 Uckfield bypass and vice versa.
The Order commenced 10 March 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 23 and 26 June 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U5906 Bannings Vale – U5892 Rodmell Avenue – U5893 Hartfield Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 23 June 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 23 and 27 June 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Swing Gate Hill – from the junction with C275 Spring Lane to the junction with A265 Heathfield Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C214 Witherenden Hill, Witherenden Road, Station Road – C83 Cottenden Road – C212 Battenhurst Road, Shrub Lane – A265 High Street, Paygate, Heathfield Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 23 June 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 23 and 27 June 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Malling Street/Malling Hill – from the junction with A26 Cuilfail Tunnel roundabout to the junction with U5137 Church Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via A26 Malling Down, Uckfield Road, Rose Hill, Lewes Road – A22 Little Horsted roundabout, Uckfield bypass, Eastbourne Road, The Shaw roundabout, East Hoathly bypass, South Street, Whitesmith, Holmes Hill, Golden Cross, The Dicker, Boship roundabout, Hailsham bypass, Diplocks roundabout, Hailsham bypass, Arlington Eagles roundabout, Polegate Road, Hailsham Road – A27 Cop Hall roundabout – A27(T) Eastbourne Road, Lewes Road, Drusillas roundabout, Lewes Road, Eastbourne Road, Beddingham roundabout, Ranscombe Hill, Southerham roundabout – A26 Southerham Road, Cuilfail Tunnel and vice versa.
The Order commences 24 June 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs on 24 and 25 June 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Golf Club Lane – from the junction with A272 Batts Bridge Road to the junction with C10 Shortbridge Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C10 Shortbridge Road – A272 Batts Bridge Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 7 July 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Laundry Lane – from the junction with C208 Horebeech Lane to the junction with C595 Vines Cross Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C208 Horebeech Lane – A267 High Street – B2203 High Street – C595 Vines Cross Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 7 July 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 7 and 10 July 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow TriConnex LTD to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Garfield Road – from the junction with C411 Station Road to the junction with U7210 Bellbanks Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U7215 Garfield Road – C411 Station Road – U7210 Bellbanks Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 7 July 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 7 and 18 July 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Poundfield Road – from the junction with C347 Lower Wick Street to the junction with C207 Chalvington Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C207 Chalvington Road – A22 Golden Cross, The Dicker – C39 Coldharbour Road, High Barn Road, Wick Street – C347 Lower Wick Street and vice versa.
The Order commences 7 July 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. The East Sussex (Love Supreme Festival, Glynde)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2025
To facilitate the safety of participants, organisers and the travelling public attending the Love Supreme Festival in Glynde, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily impose restrictions in the following lengths of road:-
Temporary Prohibition of Left Hand Turn
No vehicle shall be permitted to turn left onto C113 New Road from Glyndebourne.
Temporary One-Way Traffic
C325 Moor Lane – restricting traffic travelling westbound from the junction with U5664 Neaves Lane to the junction with C113 New Road.
Temporary 20 mph Speed Limit
C113 The Street/Station Road/Lacys Hill/Bishops Walk/New Road/ Ranscombe Lane – from the junction with U5665 Ranscombe Lane to the entrance to Glyndebourne.
C325 Moor Lane – from the junction with C113 New Road to the junction with U5664 Neaves Lane.
Temporary Prohibition of Waiting
C325 Moor Lane – from the junction with C113 New Road to the junction with U5664 Neaves Lane.
C113 Bishops Walk/Lacys Hill/The Street/New Road/Ranscombe Lane/ Station Road – from the junction with C113 New Road to the national speed limit sign.
C113 New Road – from the junction with C325 Moor Lane to the entrance to Glyndebourne.
U5665 Ranscombe Lane – from the junction with C113 The Street southwestwards for a distance of 200 metres.
Temporary Road Closure
C325 Moor Lane – at the junction with U5644 Neaves Lane (no access to the event).
The Order will be in force from 06:00hrs on 4 July 2025 to 14:00hrs on 7 July 2025.
