What is happening?

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

PROPOSED ROAD HUMP (RAISED TABLE WITH PEDESTRIAN REFUGE) ADELAIDE ROAD/ AVENUE ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA

Warwickshire County Council proposes to install:

–  2 x Road Humps in the form of a raised table, incorporating a pedestrian refuge, pursuant to Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980, upon the lengths of road as described in Schedule 1 below on Adelaide Road/Avenue Road, Leamington Spa.

A copy of this notice, a plan showing the length of road affected which includes the location of the road hump/raised table, together with a statement of the Council’s reasons for the proposals may be inspected at Shire Hall Market, Place, Warwick and on the Warwickshire County Council website https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district

Any objections or representations to the proposals, which must be in writing and specify the grounds on which they are made, should be addressed to County Highways Minor Works, Shire Hall Post Room, Rear of Shire Hall, Northgate Street, Warwick, CV34 4RL or sent by email to using the subject “Adelaide Road/Avenue Road East Leamington – Raised Road Humps for better pedestrian access”. Proposed Raised Table (Road Humps) with Pedestrian Refuge – Avenue Road, Leamington Spa

Located on Avenue Road, east of its junction with Station Approach, Leamington Spa.

Road Hump dimension: 5.55m (width) x 5.5m (length) x 0.75m (height).

Proposed Raised Table (Road Humps) with Pedestrian Refuge – Adelaide Road, Leamington Spa

Located centrally between properties 22/24 on Adelaide Road in Leamington Spa.

Road Hump dimension: 4.3m (width) x 5.5m (length) x 0.75m (height).

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(VARIOUS ROADS, NORTON LINDSEY) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025

Warwickshire County Council propose to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to impose a 20 mph Speed Limit on the length of roads mentioned in the Schedule 1 and 2 below.

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan showing the length of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick and on the Council’s website: https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district

D5269 Church Road, Norton Lindsey In its entirety from its junction with Snitterfield Lane.

D5628 Main Street, Norton Lindsey From its junction with New Road in a northwest direction for 305 metres.

C93 New Road, Norton Lindsey From its junction with Main Street northwards for 45 metres.

C93 Snitterfield Lane, Norton Lindsey From its junction with Main Street and New Road in a southeast direction for 102 metres.

SCHEDULE 2 – EXISTING NATIONAL SPEED LIMIT TO BECOME 20MPH

D5270 Canada Lane, Norton Lindsey For its entire length from its junction with Snitterfield Lane in an eastward direction.
