Glasgow Airport Area – Revised Clearway & Red Route Traffic Restrictions
What is happening?
GLASGOW AIRPORT LIMITED (GAL)
GLASGOW AIRPORT TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Glasgow Airport Limited propose to make the above named Order to supersede the Glasgow Airport Traffic Regulation Order 2017 and all subsequent amendments in exercise of its powers under Section 1(1) and (2), and 2(1) to (4) and Section 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and as having effect by virtue of the Aerodrome Traffic (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Prestwick) (No.2) Order 1976 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Constable of Police Service Of Scotland in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act.
The effect of this Order will be as follows:
24-Hour Clearway
New PUDO Access Road From its junction with Caledonia Way West in an eastwardly direction for 216m and Eastbound Slip Road from St James Interchange (M8 Junction 29) from its junction with St. Andrews Drive West in a westerly direction for 350m, or thereby.
24-Hour Red Route
St Andrews Drive West from its junction with St. Andrews Drive to Caledonia Way and Caledonia Way from its junction with St. Andrews Drive West to Caledonia Way West, except for those roads or sections of roads described in Schedule 3, Part I of the Traffic Regulation Order 2017. Caledonia Way West from its junction with Caledonia Way (Car Park 1) towards St Andrews Drive and St Andrews Drive in its entirety.
A copy of the Order and a map showing the areas and roads to which the Order relates may be inspected at the Main Terminal Building, GAL Airport between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Any person may within 21 days from the date of which this notice is published, object to the making of the Order in writing to: Mark Beveridge, Glasgow Airport Limited, St. Andrew’s Drive, Glasgow Airport, Renfrewshire, PA3 2SW
