What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Public
Footpath 35.20/1/2 Cawood, Order 2025 No 226 We have made this Order
to prohibit any pedestrian from using the Footpath 35.20/1/2 in the Parish of
Cawood between grid references SE57063894 & SE57373792 for a temporary
period of 6 months (subject to access to premises) between 24/06/25 &
02/12/25, due to an unsafe bridge. This Order follows a closure under
Emergency Notice No 92 which commenced on 03/06/25. The closure period

Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No
Tbc, Order 2025 Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council
proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984
Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to
amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading &
Provision of Parking) (District of Selby) Consolidation Order 2013” by
introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:- Table - Waiting
Prohibited At All Times With Exemptions Appleton Roebuck, Main Street,
East side from junction Daw Lane to 10m north. A copy of the draft Order,
together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's
reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall,
Northallerton & at Copmanthorpe Library, Village Centre, Main Street,
Copmanthorpe, York, YO23 3SU during normal office hours from 19/06/25 to
11/07/25 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or
www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to object to the
proposed Order, you should send the grounds for your objection, in writing,
addressed to Area 7 Selby Highways Office, Canal Road, Selby, North
Yorkshire YO8 0AG or by email to Area7.Selby@northyorks.gov.uk or via the
