C102 ACKLINGTON JUNCTION
TO GUYZANCE LEE JUNCTION ACKLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have
made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of
the C102 Acklington Junction To Guyzance Lee Junction from its junction
with C100 Brainshaugh Priory Junction To Hillhead Junction heading
southwards and then eastwards for a distance of 450 metres in the
County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 24th June 2025 until the 27th June
2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 24th June 2025
between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 during this period; however, the
order will remain in place until 27th June 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in
force being via the C100, U3088, C101, C95, A1068, C103, B6345,
U3040 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made
to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be
signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Sunbelt Rentals for pole testing
works.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be
undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
