What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
B6158 GREEN LANE, COAL ASTON
WHEN: 07 July to 11 July 2025
WHERE: B6158 Green Lane, Coal Aston
between its Jct. with the B6056 Eckington Road
to its Jct. with Derwent Road.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway surfacing
and lining works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6158 Green Lane,
Callywhite Lane, B6057 Chesterfield Road /
Sheffield Road, Bowshaw Interchange,
Jordanthorpe Parkway, Dyche Lane and vice
versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever
reasonably possible, on the affected length of
road. The road will re-open as soon as the work
is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

Council intends to make an Order under
Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
