(HOSTINGLEY LANE, MIDDLESTOWN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER (NO 149) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for surface dressing treatment & periodic sweeping to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Hostingley Lane, Middlestown from Bridge Road junction to Hostingley Farm (boundary). The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Hostingley Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: New Road, Wakefield Road, Liley Lane, Tanhouse Lane, Clough Lane, Whitley Road, Edge Top Road, Overthorpe Road, The Common, The Combs, Church Lane, Four Lane Ends, Hostingley Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 23rd June 2025 at 09.30 hours to 15.30 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(APPLEHAIGH LANE, NOTTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER (NO 151) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for gas mains replacement to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Applehaigh Lane, Notton for approximately 21.19 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Applehaigh Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: The Green, George Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 24th June 2025 to 2nd July 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(UPPER YORK STREET, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER (NO 152) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to undertake trial holes to determine location of existing utility apparatus, then excavate, build and install one telecoms cabinet, one telecoms chamber and approx. 55m telecoms duct to link into existing telecoms apparatus in footways and carriageway to enable provision of telecoms service/s to property/ies to be carried out as follows:ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Upper York Street, Wakefield. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Upper York Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 23rd June 2025 to 26th June 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(LOW MOOR LANE, WOOLLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER (NO 153) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to install 290 metres of telecoms cable to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Low Moor Lane, Woolley, opposite number 120 to opposite number 84. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Low Moor Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Bolton Wife Hill, Intake Lane, Common Lane, Woolley Low Moor Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 21st June 2025 from 08.00 hours to 18.00 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(BROTHERTON AVENUE, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER (NO 167) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for footway patching to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Brotherton Avenue, Wakefield from No. 35 to the junction of Watson Crescent. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Brotherton Avenue.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Watson Crescent, Woodhouse Road, Greenwood Close & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 10th July 2025 at 07.30 hours to 16th July 2025 at 15.30 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(BROAD CUT ROAD, CALDER GROVE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER (NO 168) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to install telecoms ducting to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Broad Cut Road, Calder Grove between numbers 29 to 37. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Broad Cut Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion. Access will remain for residents where possible. Pedestrians will be marshalled through the site and the closure will be lifted over the weekend.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 10th July 2025 to 14th July 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(WOOD LANE, OVERTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER (NO 169) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to install telecoms ducting to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Wood Lane, Overton near Bank House Farm for approximately 85 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Wood Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: New Road, Thornhill Road, Edge Road, Judy Haigh Lane, Wood Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 9th July 2025 to 11th July 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible. Access will be maintained for residents.

(SOUTH LANE, NETHERTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER (NO 170) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for excavation on behalf of Northern Powergrid to upgrade electrical infrastructure to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: South Lane, Netherton from Barley Court to Star Farm. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of South Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Upper Lane, South Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 7th July 2025 to 21st July 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible. Road plates will be available to gain access to the fields.

(CARR LANE, MIDDLESTOWN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER (NO 171) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to install new electrical connection to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Carr Lane, Middlestown from the junction with Old Road to outside number 8. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Carr Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion, access maintained where possible by use of road plates.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 7th July 2025 to 11th July 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
