Totton Western Bypass, New Forest, Temporary Road Closure due to Access Works to Overhead Structure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – TOTTON WESTERN BYPASS, TOTTON, NEW FOREST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED:

That part of Totton Western Bypass between its junction with Michigan Way and a point approx. 60 metres Southward.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:

Salisbury Road, Ringwood Road

DURATION OF ORDER:

From 30th June 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:30 – 15:30).

The Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to allow access to overhead structure. If there are any queries or enquiries regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk 

Sunbelt Rentals Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
