Station Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
STATION ROAD, STANLEY
WHEN: 08 July 2025 (09:30 to 15:30 only)
WHERE: Station Road, Stanley between its Jct. with Morley Lane and its Jct. with Glebe Crescent.
REASON: To facilitate safe access to overhead network and to provide service to a customer.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Station Road, A609 Belper Road / Ilkeston Road, A608 Main Road / Mansfield Road, Lime Lane, Derby Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
