Lynam Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
LYNAM ROAD, SOUTH WINGFIELD
WHEN: 10th July 2025 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: Lynam Road, South Wingfield between its Jct. with Park Lane and the entrance to Wingfield Park.
REASON: To facilitate the testing of BT poles.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Park Lane, B5035: Roes Lane/ Bowns Hill, The Common, Crich Road, Allan Lane, Chapel Street, Bobbin Mill Hill, Lynam Road, and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
