C395 PEGSWOOD MAIN ROAD THROUGH VILLAGE, PEGSWOOD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C395 Pegswood Main Road through village from its junction with C395 Road to Pegswood Cemetery, Pegswood heading north westwards for a distance of 336 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 14th July 2025 until the 14th January 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 14th July 2025 until the 19th July 2025 between 19:00 hours and 06:00 hours during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 14th January 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the C395, A197 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for civil and resurfacing works to the carriageway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
