C95 Sea View to Warkworth - Temporary Road Closure

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
C95 SEA VIEW SHILBOTTLE TO WARKWORTH SHILBOTTLE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NUMBER 3 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of C95 Sea View Shilbottle to Warkworth Shilbottle from 89 metres north eastwards of a point at the front of Station Cottages, Warkworth heading in south westwards direction for a distance of 56 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 29th June 2025 until the 7th July 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 29th June 2025 until the 30th June 2025 between 23:00 hours and 05:00 hours during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 7th July 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the C95, U3030, U3029 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Go Traffic Management on behalf of Network Rail to inspect a bridge. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
