Peaslows Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
PEASLOWS LANE, CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH
WHEN: 07 July to 08 July 2025
WHERE: Peaslows Lane, Chapel-en-le-frith opposite Peaslows Farm.
REASON: To facilitate 5 new telegraph pole installations.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Peaslows Lane, Blackbrook Lane, A6, A623, B6061 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
