NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by motor vehicles on Byway Open to All Traffic on that section of the U6047 Hartburn Grange Junction to Hill Top Junction for its entire length in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 27th June 2025 until the 10th November 2025.
The byway open to all traffic will be closed at all times during this period.
There is no alternative route available.
Access will be given to residents, businesses, farm vehicles and the Farm Shop.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council due to a bridge collapse. The road is unsuitable for any form of access due to minor damage ruts are causing damaging vehicles and diesel spillages.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
