Department for Infrastructure - Temporary Closing of Roads
What is happening?
A3 Northway/Central Way, Craigavon –
One-way in a Lurgan bound direction.
Notice is hereby given that the Department for Infrastructure
in its capacity as Road Authority and acting in pursuance
of its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation
(Northern Ireland) Order 1997 has temporarily prohibited the
use of 910 metres of the above named road to through traffic,
one-way in a Lurgan bound direction from its junction with
U1361 Highfield Road to its junction with A3 Marlborough
House Roundabout from 09:30 to 16:30 daily, commencing
on Monday 23 June 2025 until Friday 18 July 2025. (Open
during evenings and weekends)
Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be
maintained at all times.
This closure is to facilitate the construction of a new entrance
to Rushmere Shopping Centre.
An alternative route will be signed with traffic being
diverted via:
U1361 Highfield Road, U1361 Balteagh Road, U1361
Lakeview Road, A3 Roundabout 4 and A3 Central Way
