WEST NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(LIME AVENUE, EYDON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Lime Avenue, Eydon as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Lime Avenue, Eydon from the junction of Partridge Lane to Mannings Yard.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Hill View, High Street and School Lane.

(BRINGTON ROAD, LONG BUCKBY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Brington Road, Long Buckby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Brington Road, Long Buckby from the junction of Lodge Lane to Lodge Farm.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during stop tap replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 8th July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Lodge Lane, East Street and High Street.

(BLACKSMITHS LANE, ASTON LE WALLS)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Blacksmiths Lane, Aston Le Walls as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Blacksmiths Lane, Aston Le Walls from the junction of Main Street to Welsh Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 1st July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Stubbs Road, Everdon as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Stubbs Road, Everdon from the junction of Everdon Road to ER3.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repair works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd June 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Everdon Road, A45, A4037, Preston Capes Road, Fawsley Road and High Street.

(FARNBOROUGH DRIVE, DAVENTRY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Farnborough Drive, Daventry as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Farnborough Drive, Daventry from the junction of Ashby Road roundabout to Buscote Park Way roundabout.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during remedials to road crossing.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 24th June 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 2 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Ashby Road, Drayton Way, Newnham Drive and Farnborough Drive.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Byfield Road, Aston le Walls as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Byfield Road, Aston le Walls from the junction with Welsh Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the relaying of water mains.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th June 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 7 weeks.
