What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

GLEBE ROAD, STAPLEFORD & WYMONDHAM

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 12/07/2025 and have a maximum duration of 1 month. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 days to allow Network Rail to carry out level crossing maintenance. The proposed diversion route will be via: Glebe Rd, Holygate Rd, Stapleford Rd, Saxby Rd B676, Wymondham Rd, Melton Rd, Glebe Rd & vice versa.

Closure will be 50m approx. either side of the level crossing.

DALBY ROAD, NETHER BROUGHTON

ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 12/07/2025 and have a maximum duration of 2 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Williams Homes & their contractors Williams Builders Ltd to carry out carriageway resurfacing works outside a development. The proposed diversion route will be via: Dalby Rd, Nether Broughton; Station Rd, Main Rd, Wood Hill, Nottingham Ln, Old Dalby; Station Rd, Bottom Green, Melton Rd A606 Upper Broughton; Main Rd Nether Broughton.

CHURCH LANE, LONG CLAWSON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 16/07/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to carry out investigatory works into collapsed highway drainage system. The proposed diversion route will be via: The Sands, Back Ln, Sand Pit Ln, Church Ln & vice versa.

CHURCH STREET, SCALFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 16/07/2025 and have a maximum duration of 1 week. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Severn Trent Water to carry out supply apparatus maintenance in the highway. The proposed diversion route will be via: King St, Church St & vice versa.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

STATION LANE, KIRBY BELLARS

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

ORDER 2025

The Order will come into force on 28/06/2025 and have a maximum duration of 1 month. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 days to allow Network Rail to undertake level crossing testing.

The proposed diversion route will be via:  Station Ln, Main Rd,

Leicester Rd, Kirby Bellars; Leicester Rd A607, Wilton Rd A607, Asfordby Rd, Melton Mowbray; A6006; Main Rd, Main St, Asfordby; Station Ln Kirby Bellars & vice versa.

WALTHAM LANE, WYCOMB

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

ORDER 2025

The Order will come into force on 25/06/2025 and have a maximum duration of 1 month. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Severn Trent Water to carry out apparatus service repair works in the highway. The proposed diversion route will be via: Waltham Ln, Scalford; Goadby Rd, Eastwell Rd, Waltham; Eastwell Rd Eaton; Eastwell Rd, King St, Church St, Thorpe Side, Wycomb Ln, Scalford & vice versa.

Closed from the Main Rd, Wycomb Jct up to the Jct of the road that runs from Goadby Rd, Chadwell to Waltham Ln.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

ORDER 2025

The Order will come into force on 23/06/2025 and have a maximum duration of 1 week. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Cadent Gas to carry out a service installation. The proposed diversion routes will be signed on site.
