National Highways
A34, A303 AND A30 TRUNK ROADS (BULLINGTON CROSS)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited intends to make an Order on the A34, A303 and A30 Trunk Roads in the County of Hampshire, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road.
The effect of the Order would be to authorise the phased overnight closures of:
1. both carriageways of the A30 between and including the roundabout at Bullington Cross Interchange (A34/A30); and
2. all the roads connecting to and from the carriageways described in 1. above to and from the A34 and A303.
These measures would be in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake carriageway repairs and all associated works.
It is expected that all phases of the work would last for approximately 2 weeks starting on or after Monday 7th July 2025. The overnight closures would take place between 21:00 and 06:00 (maximum periods).
The Order would come into force on 5th July 2025 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works are complete.
Through traffic affected by the closures would be diverted using the A34, A303, A30, Winchester Street and The Street.
The temporary closures and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
I Rosendaal, an Official of National Highways Limited.
