Finches Lane, Twyford, Winchester - Temporary closure due to gas main replacement
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Finchs Lane between its junction with High Street and its junction with School Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Queen Street, High Street.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 23rd June 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Friday 11th July 2025 and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
