Newry Mourne & Down District Council - Notification of Road Closure for Special Event
What is happening?
Notice is hereby given that Newry, Mourne and Down District
Council using its powers under Article 8A of the Road Traffic Regulation
(Northern Ireland) Order 1997, proposes to temporarily restrict vehicles for
the following event.
The following restriction of traffic has been requested by Martin
McGinn for the purposes of Rossi 5K.
Roads: The Square Rostrevor Car Park, Greenpark Road, Levellyreagh
Road, Drumsesk Road, Warrenpoint Road.
The restriction will start on Saturday 19 July 2025 from 5.00pm
to 6.30pm. An alternative route will be signed.
A copy of the road closure request application form, route and diversion
maps may be inspected electronically at

the Council’s Newry or Downpatrick Office address below.
