What is happening?

Temporary Orders

The Cornwall Council
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
The County of Cornwall (Footpath 50 in the Parish of St Enoder) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 16th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of highway in Summercourt. This prohibition is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to traffic for Balloons and Tunes event and it is expected that the closure will be from 4th July 2025 to 6th July 2025.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Public right of way affected - Footpath 50 in the Parish of St Enoder for its entire length.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 12th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984continuing to impose a temporary speed restriction of 30 MPH over an area of highway being Roche Road, Route Of New A391 From Stenalees Roundabout To Trezaise, Higher Trezaise, Trezaise Road, Fore Street, Victoria Road, Edgcumbe Road, Stenalees from Tregoss Roundabout to Singlerose Roundabout for approximately 5675 Metres.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the workforce during works to finish St Austell to A30 Link Road. The Order will come into operation on 13th June 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 31st July 2025.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The restriction was previously in place closed for reasons of workforce safety by notice under 
Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 23rd May 2025 fora period of 21 days.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 16th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Road From Chimney Tops To Moor Lane, Bugle between Trevillyn Manor Farm and Access To Great Gurtla Farm.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the highway due to hole in road. The Order will come into operation on 17th June 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 26th September 2025.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 27th May 2025 for a period of 21 days.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 25th January 2025 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Crinnicks Hill, Bodmin from No 4 to access to Fore Street Car Park. 

The Order which commenced on the 26th January 2025 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 18th July 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed due to building structural concerns.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

The County of Cornwall (Trewalder Road, Delabole) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Delabole.

This prohibition is necessary for repair works to Newhall Road Bridge and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th July 2025 to 5th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Trewalder Road, Delabole between property known as Sunnyside and grid reference SX 06194 82309.

The County of Cornwall (Road From A390 At Bridge Crossing To Sams Lane, Par) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 30th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Par. This prohibition is necessary for installation of statutory fibre network and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th July 2025 to 29th July 2025.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From A390 At Bridge Crossing To Sams Lane, Par for its entire length.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 16th June 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being Windmill Road, B3314 Between Plain Street And Windmill Road, B3314 Between Windmill Road And Menefreda Way, Wadebridge from near Hazel Dene to near Windmill Court for approximately 940 metres.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because poling works are being executed on or near the road.

The Order will come into operation on 2nd July 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 3rd July 2025. The restriction will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530 on a daily basis, weekdays only.
