What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF RISEDALE ROAD AND

LANGLEY AVENUE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-

1. that length of Risedale Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with St Albans Hill south eastwards to its junction with Belmont Road, a distance of approximately 307m.

An alternative route will be via St Albans Hill, Leys Road, Stonelea Road and Belmont Road.

2.  that length of Langley Avenue, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Sunrise Crescent south westwards to its junction with Risedale Road, a distance of approximately 90m. An alternative route will be via Langley Avenue, Leys Road, Stonelea Road, Belmont Road and Risedale Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF KINGSDALE ROAD, BERKHAMSTED) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Kingsdale Road, Berkhamsted from a point in line with the western boundary of No.25 Kingsdale Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 25m (“the Road”), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN BERKHAMSTED, TRING AND HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-

1. that length of A41 (unnamed road), Berkhamsted from its junction with the A41 westbound slip road leading to the A4251 London Road roundabout south westwards and north westwards to its junction with the A41 westbound slip road leading to the A416 Chesham Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 4620m.

An alternative route will be via A4251 (London Road/High Street) and A416 (Kings Road/Kingshill Way/Chesham Road). 2. that length of A41 (unnamed road), Berkhamsted/A41 Tring Bypass, Tring from its junction with the A41 westbound slip road leading onto the westbound carriageway of A41 Tring Bypass north westwards to its junction with the A41 westbound slip road leading onto the westbound carriageway of A41 Tring Bypass, a distance of approximately 7326.

An alternative route will be via A416 (Chesham Road/Kingshill Way/ Kings Road), A4251 (High Street/Gossoms End/High Street/Tring Road) and A41 Interchange Tring.

3. that length of A41 (unnamed road), Hemel Hempstead/ Berkhamsted from a point 376 metres north west of its junction with the northbound slip road leading onto A41 Two Waters Way Intersection north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 2433m.

An alternative route will be via A41 Two Waters Way Interchange and A4251 London Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING

RESTRICTIONS IN BUNKERS LANE AND ST ALBANS HILL,

HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1.  that length of Bunkers Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Lower Road north eastwards to its junction with Bedmond Road, a distance of approximately 2393m.

An alternative route will be via Lower Road, Hyde Lane and Bedmond Road.

2.  that length of St Albans Hill, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Lawn Lane north eastwards to its junction with Bennette End Road, a distance of approximately 1334m.

An alternative route will be via Lawn Lane, A414 St Albans Road and Bennetts End Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CHEQUERS HILL, FLAMSTEAD AND FRIENDLESS LANE, MARKYATE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”):-

1. that length of Chequers Hill, Flamstead from its junction with Delmer End Lane south eastwards, north eastwards, eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with A5183 London Road, a distance of approximately 533m.

An alternative route will be via Singlets Lane, High Street, Chapel Road, Hollybush Lane and A5183 London Road.

2.  that length of Friendless Lane, Markyate from its junction with Cheverells Green south eastwards to its junction with Valley Lane, a distance of approximately 1935m.

An alternative route will be via Cheverells Green, Pickford Road and Valley Lane.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CROSS OAK ROAD, BERKHAMSTED) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Cross Oak Road, Berkhamsted from its junction with Anglefield Road south westwards to its junction with Greystoke Close, a distance of approximately 314m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via Cross Oak Road, Charles Street, A416 Kings Road, Shootersway and Cross Oak Road. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 9 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HILLMAY DRIVE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of

Hillmay Drive, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Anchor Lane north westwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 23 June 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CRAWLEYS LANE, WIGGINTON) ORDER NO.2 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Crawleys Lane, Wigginton from its junction with Wigginton Bottom south westwards to its junction with Chesham Road, a distance of approximately 218m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Crawleys Lane, Bottom House Lane, Hemp Lane and Chesham Road.

The Order is needed because foul water connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 23 June 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF DARRS LANE, NORTHCHURCH) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Darrs Lane, Northchurch from its junction with Shootersway north eastwards for a distance of approximately 173m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Shootersway, Durrants Lane, Westfield Road, Granville Road and Darrs Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 22 June 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
