ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE – WESTMEAD SW15
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Westmead to facilitate Telecoms works.
Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Westmead from the junction with Dover House Road to outside number 10. There will be no waiting 08:00-18:00 Monday - Wednesday.
Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

The order will come into operation on 16 June 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 18 June 2025.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 – SECTION 247
LAND WEST OF WYE STREET
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WANDSWORTH hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping up of the highway described in the First Schedule.
IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping-up will be authorised to enable the development described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 by the London Borough of Wandsworth on 29 January 2021 under local planning authority reference 2019/0024.
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED FREE OF CHARGE
between 09:00 and 17:00 during a period of 28 days commencing on Thursday 12 June 2025 at Wandsworth Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU.
Copies of the draft order and stopping up plan are also available to view at Battersea Library, 265 Lavender Hill, Battersea, London, SW11 1JB during the library’s opening hours.

ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed Order by writing to the Director of Environment and Community Services, London Borough of Wandsworth, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, SW18 2PU quoting reference 2019/0024. Any objection must be received by Thursday 10 July 2025. In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.

THE FIRST SCHEDULE
Areas of Highway to be Stopped Up
That part of Wye Street, London SW11 2SR, shown hatched black on the attached plan, consisting of an area of 244 square metres, running from a point north to south on the western side of Wye Street for a distance of 61m, and from a point east to west on the western side of Wye Street for a distance of 4m.
That part of Wye Street, London, SW11 2SR, shown hatched black on the attached plan, consisting of an area of 658 square metres, running from a point east to west on the northern side of Wye Street for a distance of 50.2 metres, and from a point north to south on the northern side of Wye Street for a distance of 13.1m.
The part of Wye Street, London, SW11 2SR, shown hatched black on the attached plan, consisting of an area of 1,629 square metres, running from a point north to south on the western side of Wye Street for a distance of 69.9m, and from a point east to west on the western side of Wye Street for a distance of 23.3m.
THE SECOND SCHEDULE
The Location
Existing footway and carriageway on Wye Street, south of Block 5, east and north of the now demolished Battersea Chapel, and east of Pennethorne House, SW11 2SR.
The development
The application is for a part outline and part detailed planning permission for the following proposed development:
(a) Phased demolition of all existing buildings;
(b) Mixed use phased development comprising residential up to 2550 units (mix tenure including social rent, affordable rent, intermediate, private rented and private sale) ranging from 3 - 31 storeys above ground level including leisure centre, health, flexible commercial uses (retail, financial and professional services, café / restaurants, drinking establishments, hot-food takeaways, business, non-residential institutions and assembly and leisure), park, landscaping, public realm, energy centres, car/cycle parking and new vehicle accesses.
All matters reserved except for phased construction of Block 1 (two residential towers comprising 239 private sale units and new leisure/community centre of 12,400sqm GIA including a gym, swimming pool and library, commercial uses of 2191sqm GIA), Block 5 (comprising 136 affordable units and commercial units of 393sqm GIA) and Block 6 (64 private sale units and 63 affordable units) together with a new Park (2.49ha) and associated works; and
(c) Site clearance and enabling works including works to Winstanley Road, as well as temporary works necessary to enable the approved development.
An Environmental Statement has been submitted with the application under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017.
