Dartford, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

 

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

 

DARTFORD AREA

 

Chastilian Road, Dartford, DA1 3JY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of full reconstruction of collapsing carriageway, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chastilian Road, Dartford, on or after 7th July 2025 for up to 15 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Heather Drive and number 113.

The alternative route is via Chastilian Road, B2174 Princes Road, A226/A207 Crayford Road, Station Road and vice versa.

 

Darenth Wood Road, Darenth, DA2 8AA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of telecoms works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Darenth Wood Road, Darenth, on or after 7th July 2025 for up to 4 days between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Jasmine Centre.

The alternative route is via Darenth Wood Road, Darenth Pak Avenue, Gore Road, A296 Watling Street and vice versa.

 

Meadow Way, Dartford, DA2 6GB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Meadow Way, Dartford, on or after 23rd June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 16.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.

 

Oakfield Lane, Dartford, DA1 2JT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a water and electric connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Oakfield Lane, Dartford, on or after 10th July 2025 for up to 9 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside North Kent College.

The alternative route is via Oakfield Lane, Heath Lane Upper, B2174 Princes Road, A225 Lowfield Street/Hawley Road and vice versa.

 

Westwood Road, Southfleet, DA13 9LT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of highways drainage maintenance, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Westwood Road, Southfleet, on or after 11th July 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Jasmine Centre.

The alternative route is via Westwood Road, B255 Highcross Road, B262 Betsham Road and vice versa.

 

Wood Lane, Darenth, DA2 7JR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Wood Lane, Darenth, on or after 23rd June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 31.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
