What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1)

TEMPORARY LOADING BAY, SUSPENSION OF WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS, SUSPENSION OF PAYBYPHONE PAYMENT PARKING BAY AND THE INTRODUCTION OF TEMPORARY ‘AT ANY TIME’ RESTRICTIONS

FINCHLEY ROAD NW2

The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to the need to facilitate delivery of goods and concrete to development site at 404-406 Finchley Road NW11, they have made an Order which will:

(a) temporarily suspend a length of 7am to 10am Monday to Saturday waiting and loading restrictions on the east side of Finchley Road from a point 1.7 metres north of the common boundary of No.398 and No.400 Finchley Road for a distance of 16.2 metres, while the works take place.

(b) temporarily suspend a 16.2 Paybyphone payment parking operating 10am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday on the east side of Finchley Road, from a point 1.7 metres north of the common boundary of No.398 and No.400 Finchley Road for a distance of 16.2 metres, while the works take place.

(c) temporarily introduce a length of ‘at any time’ waiting and loading restrictions on the east side of Finchley Road from a point 1.7 metres north of the common boundary of No.398 and No.400 Finchley Road for a distance of 16.2 metres, while the works take place.

(d) temporarily introduce a loading only parking bay, operational between 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday on the east side of Finchley Road, from a point 1.7 metres north of the common boundary of No.398 and No.400 Finchley Road for a distance of 16.2 metres, while the works take place.

The Order will commence at 8am on Monday 16th June 2025 and is expected to last for 12 months.

Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Officer, a Civil Enforcement Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
