What is happening?
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (VARIOUS PARISHES) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict parts of the highways of roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

The roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 19th June 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the said closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. Emergency and pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road and emergency access will be maintained.
This Order can permit the closure and restriction of the said roads and roads shown on the plans at any time from 3rd March 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400898 WASHPPOOL LANE (KEMBLE & EVEN PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400898 Washpool Lane Road from outside of the property known as "Beechwood House" to its boundary with Kemble Parish for a distance of approximately 589 metres.
The reason for the closure is for installation of power cables to Solar Farm apparatus.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C181 CASTLE STREET (CIRENCESTER TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C181 Castle Street Road from its junction with Market Place to outside the property known as No. 78A Castle Street for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
