What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Edgerley Gardens) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.101) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 30th June 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
EDGERLEY GARDENS
From its junction with Pitreavie Road to outside No. 21 Edgerley Gardens.
B) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
PITREAVIE ROAD
From opposite No. 22 Pitreavie Road to side of No. 76 Pitreavie Road.
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate Openreach works.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 30th June 2025 to 4th July 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
E) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Edgerly Gardens, Jasmond Road, Highbury Grove, Pitreavie Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
